• Nanomedicine, with special emphasis on the development of novel nanotechnologies for applications in cell/tissue mechanics, inflammation, and regenerative medicine.
• Development of novel nanocarriers for brain and lung injury applications.
• Development of novel nanocarriers for metabolic disorders.
• Development of organ-on-a-chip disease models.
