Research Description
Our research combines biophysics, nanotechnology, and biomaterials to understand and control biological systems across molecular, cellular, and tissue length scales. We engineer nanoparticles, DNA nanostructures, and biomimetic microenvironments to study cellular mechanics, molecular transport, cancer progression, and nanoscale assembly. By integrating fundamental biophysical research with applications in diagnostics, drug delivery, and biohybrid systems, we provide students with a highly interdisciplinary training environment spanning physics, engineering, biology, and medicine.
